Adidas Originals reunited with Sporty & Rich on the Adidas Handball Spezial x Sporty & Rich Brown. Sporty & Rich are almost unanimously thought of as one of the most reputable athleisure brands in the scene today and this collaboration is a testament to that accolade. The Los Angeles-based sportswear label was founded by designer Emily Oberg and it is her imagination responsible for this latest trio of reworked designs for the classic Adidas Handball Spezial. This particular colourway uses a luxurious chocolate brown suede as a base for its upper with cream-white suede playing a supporting role on the iconic 3-Stripes on the sidewall. Minimalist Sporty & Rich branding adorns the lateral foxing and tongue that has replaced the typical “Spezial” callout seen on regular variants. Further celebrations of this impressive collaboration are shown off by co-branded logos that embellish the sock liners. Below, a low-profile gum sole rounds out the classic terrace shoe aesthetic.
